With the collapse of the Soviet Union and changes in the defense strategy of independent Ukraine, the reduction and shutdown of most industries began. In 2003, a group of people, the former employees of the glass plant, it was decided to maintain production facilities and creation on their basis of an industrial enterprise "PROMSYSTEMS", under the production of the future: preform, glass powder, solder and sealing glass, frits, which use numerous plants in the production of: radio-electronic industry, semiconductor devices, chemical current sources, electrical connectors, sealed glands, devices: nuclear energy, aircraft construction, mechanical engineering.
